This page is intended for Criminal Justice/Sociology Students at Northern
Illinois University to enhance their knowledge about prisons, prison 
policies, and prison culture by facilitating communication with  people
currently or recently incarcerated in Illinois prisons. Although 
non-NIU students are welcome to use this page as a resource, participation
in discussions is at the discretion of instructors.

Janet Jackson has agreed to share her experiences with us, as her time
allows. Janet is currently incarcerated in Dwight Correctional Center.
