Steve,
The best shot this person has is to look at Roger Hood's two editions of The
Death Penalty: A World-Wide Perspective, published in 1988 and 1996,
respectively. There will most certainly be references to Canada, and
references used by Hood can be followed-up, of course. This will not
provide a scholarly analysis of the anti-death penalty movement in Canada,
however, as Herb Haines book provides a social movements analysis of the
anti-death penalty activism in the US.
