To whom it concern,
Since for some time we have mediated a daily pressmirrow in English and
German from Turkish and Kurdish resources, on actual developments which
are connected with the death penalty case apprehended against Abdullah
Ocalan. The goal of the Flash Bulletin is to mediate the actual
developments for the democratic public to develop together initatives
and projects. For those who support the peace process and want to know
more about developments can receive our upto date news which was
initiated by the PKK in September 1999 and the democratic changes in
Turkey.
The threat of death penalty against Abdullah Ocalan would destroy all
the improvements and developments which have all ready been created for
the way to a democratic Turkish society. This would lead to other
developments in the future which will not be in the interest of the
Kurdish as well as the Turkish people and in concurrence the European
society as Turkey is a European candidate. Therefore since developments
relate both to Turkey and Europe it would be very important that the
process is followed by all and do what ever necessary to add support to
the period. That is why a just peace and a political solution is only
possible on a democratic basis which is the only way for the Turkish,
Kurdish and also for all the ethnic minorities who live in Turkey to
create their future in freedom and democracy.
The abolishment of the death penalty is not only the most important
prerequisite for Turkey but it is also a democratic basis to be created
in the future throughtout the world for all people. Mumia Abul Jamal,
Abdullah Ocalan and Leonard Peltier have been condemd to death for only
dedicating their life for their people, to live in freedoom and
independence. They are a representative for the thousands of political
prisoners all over the world who have been imprisoned in prisons by
fasist and undemocratic states.
