        I mentioned this link in an earlier message to the group but looks
right up you alley. It's the Human Rights Watch - Global Report on
Women's Human Rights

There's quite a bit on the use of rape in a variety of wars/conflicts,
abuses of women in custody (including US), trafficking & forced
prostitution, employment discrimination, domestic violence,
reproduction, sexuality & abortion. There's even a nice recommendation
section.
The STOP VIOLENCE part of my page has a link to the British Home
Office's report on best practices for dealing with domestic violence &
there's also some links to Domestic Violence and women's issues in
muslim countries.
