I am toying with the idea of adding a "news & announcement" page to my
website to include such things as: upcoming conferences, calls for
papers, abstracts of articles, forthcoming books...that kind of thing.

Also, I would also be interested in any feedback that you might have to
the Newsmaking Criminology (conceptual) Page and the related link sites.
