Jim,
I am somewhat in agreement with Mike. One of the central problem of
web-democracy is that there is no filtering mechanisms and all claims
whether meaningful or frivolous tend to weigh in equally. On the other hand
supporting those facing the threat of being killed by the state seems to be
well within the purview of the division's spirit. Are there any halfway
points. Would it be reasonable for the division's website to have a
death-sentence up-date section where those facing execution who wish can be
identified along with the state of their appeal process and addresses where
those who would like to offer support can contact them or their supporters
on the outside?
