I understand that there is follow-up research on the "Furman
babies"--that is, people who were paroled from death row as a result of
Furman v. Georgia. It tends to show that were not a very dangerous
bunch, as convicted felons go.
I just tried to do a Web search and ran smack into the fact that there is
a Furman University I had never heard of, and my death penalty links do
not go very far right now.
Question: Does anyone know what has been done with this data and if the
results are all in one place? Or do I have to just dive into death
penalty lit generally and pick out the studies based on those parolees
one by one?
Thanks, and I apologize in advance if this question is too simple for the
forum.
