There is a note asking for the ASC office to be contacted if any errors are
found (76551.201@CompuServe).
I was a bit surprised to find that my listing is perhaps five years old,
and includes incorrect information I have been trying to fix for five
years. I checked around about some other critical criminologists, just for
the hell of it. While I don't know everyone's information (I certainly
didn't check the accuracy of phone numbers), I did check people I knew
changed jobs or titles at least two years ago, and then checked some
Division officers. I found that pretty much every single person I checked
had incorrect or incomplete information. For example, I checked: Bruce
Arrigo, Gregg Barak, Kim Cook, Walter DeKeseredy, the Dobashes, Dragan
Milovanovic, Jody Miller, Barbara Perry, and, even, Jim Thomas. Every
single entry is wrong. Mark Hamm doesn't have an e-mail address, but then
again I don't know if he uses e-mail.
So, y'all might want to do what I did: send a polite little note to Sarah
Hall (CompuServe address above) fixing your entry.
AND, perhaps as a division we could suggest to ASC that we are not all that
impressed by the new and updated membership directory. I have never seen
one this bad. ASC has an enormous reserve, and could easily afford to hire
a clerk for a month to update these files.
