We currently have 10 panels on critical criminology topics to be
submitted to the ASC meeting organizers. Definitely a good showing. There
are a few panels which presently lack someone to play the role of
convener/discussant. These are:
1. Critical Inquiry inot the Construction of Criminiology
2. The Cultural-Economy of Crime: Gender, Accomodation, and Identity
3. Inventing the Gang Problem: Power, Politics and Criminology
If you are a division member and would like to be considered as a
convener/discussant for one of these panels, please respond to me by e-mail
no later than Wednesday, April 1.
