Briefly, I have a student who wrote an impressive (and decidedly critical) historical analysis of Louisiana
governor, Edwin Edwards and prison reform. He concludes by arguing (among other things) that policymakers can
learn from Edwards' story that "[Advocating progressive correctional policies...] will never be a piece of
cake, but Edwards demonstrated that it also need not be a cyanide pill" for politicians.
My question: I'd like to see him submit this paper for publication. Does anyone know of a possible venue?
Your suggestions are appreciated.

(For the record, the same batch of papers held a student who kept referring to black guerilla groups as
yes...black GORILLA groups, and another student who asserted that "People are no longer Neandrathals, they are
men" to which I was compelled to observe, "unless, of course, they are women." Sigh.)
