I'm going to be writing a paper for my social-psyche class on "identity".
Since I'm writing about Simmel for another class I thought that perhaps I
could write on Simmel for this class as well. Now the question I have is:
Does Simmel talk anywhere in his works about the beginning developement of an
identity? I'm just starting to read the Wolfe translated text and there is
obviously alot on the individual, but at first glance there doesn't seem to
be anything on the genesis of the individual. Knowing however that the
table of contents and index do not tell it all I thought I'd better ask. If
not in this text is there anywhere else I could go to find his view on this
topic?
Thanx bunches!!
