Lindsey I can see your point, but I am not sure the oak tree example
works. When I leave the rez and go to the city I do become disconnected
from a part of my self. Part of my identity is lost or at least
suspended until I get back to the rez because that part of my identity
can never be found in the city. Just a thought.
