Try this: I can frame my quilt piece and then look at it standing face to
face, over my shoulder, standing on my head, from the left side, the right
side, through your eyes, etc.

I can also look at it as a quilter, a seamstress, an artist, a purchaser,
recycler, a person who's color-blind, etc.

So: I have framed it as a piece of "art," [not really--it's something fun to
do] and then i [and you] will look on it as a 'piece of art' from our
perspectives.

Had I made it, even with its borders, then used it to diaper the baby, the
whole thing would be different.
