Hey, the comments about age are really interesting. A terrific essay
some 25 years ago was by Bennett Berger, "How Long is a Generation." I
recently saw a report about one of those ever present opinion polls. this
one was with "boomers" born in 1946. One question asked was what age old
is? Since most of these people are about 50, it is perhaps not a surprise
to an interactionist that the median age suggested was 79! How's that
for a sense of the self-as-present-looking-at-the-future. Or, Denial
can be fun!
