In response:
The media seems to be entirely a forum for politics, however that may be
due to my broad definition of politics. I think just about everything
can be attributed to politics. As I was scanning my brain to figure out
what I thought the media was, I considered that possibly even art
journals could be politics... the artists attempting to make the public
aware of exhibitions and such, just as politicians try to make the public
aware of world crises and economic fluctuations...
What I'm saying is that whether or not media is a forum for politics
depends on the definition of politics. What do you guys think?
