i agree with shannon that people can have and be affected by stigmas that
they don't know they have. as a matter a fact, i see this occur
frequently. although an aquaintance of mine doesn;t have a good
reputation, she doesnt realize this. but, she is definately stigmatized
as promiscuous and is treated as such in some situations.
