as i recall the Goetz incident, the media presented it to be more of a
racial incident as compared to a pro-firearm statement- at least that's
what i got from all the coverage. that's another problem with the media
and its messages, different audiences can get different messages from the
same coverage. i'm an african american woman and what stood out most to
me was the incident be more of a racial one.
