I would say that politics is defined by a power struggle. the question is
who can get their point of view, opinion, whatever across by exerting the most
power over the listeners. I think I got his opinion from Foucault (he wrote an
essay on how what we "Know" is influenced by whoever is in power at the time.
Our concept of "truth" is therefore forever in flux but we don't even realize
it.
