I think it is obvious to all of us that there are different expectations
of men and women which allows each of the sexes to get away with
different things. A lot of what we expect from each comes from what is
portrayed by the media. In order for any idea to be widespread and
popular there has to be a way of communicating that idea to the masses
and the media is able to do this. Who controls what ideas are spread I'm
not exactly sure, all I know is that they have a tremendous amount of
power over our society and how we view the world.
