Following up Alexander Massey's request, I am sorry if other readers
of this list feel that there is some kind of private exchange going
on. There has been a lot of publicity in the hard-copy SSSI Notes
which go out to SSSI members. The next issue to reach them will have
copies of the booking details enclosed. UK publicity is also going
out through the spring issues of various newsletters in sociology,
anthropology, cultural studies and education research and posters
will be sent to relevant departments in the next 2-3 weeks.
I am forwarding to the list in a separate message the text of the
SSSI Notes piece which explains what is going on.
