I don't know about anything happening or talk spaces, but:

I will be in Richmond the end of this week for the SSS meetings, with a lap
quilt I am making for Ira Robinson. I'm planning to go to Athens next month,
and visit him and give him this quilt. If anyone wants to, you can sign your
name on the back in permanent ink, to say hi to Ira and let him know we have
not forgot him. Look for me in the bar.

For those of you who cannot get to Richmond but would like to sign this thing,
fax me a note and your signature, and I'll try to reproduce it somehow on the
quilt. Make it normal sized writing, please. The fax is 615-372-6395.

The quilt is a cotton interpretation o the classic Lancaster County Amish
"bars" pattern, rendered semi-competently by hand. I think the names will be
more meaningful for him, though.

Come to think of it, you could even just use the USPS to gt a note to me: DoS,
Tenn Tech university, Cookeville, TN 38505.
