I am using Mitchell Duneier's ethnography, "Slim's Table: Race,
Respectability, and Masculinity" (1992) in my gender and education
course. In contrast to a second research study I'm using, Marjorie Shostak's
"Nisa: The Life and Words of a !Kung Woman" (1981), Duneier provides
little information in the book on how he conducted his study. Is anyone
aware of anything else Duneier may have published about this ethnography?
My search of the customary data banks yielded nothing, and my students are
very interested. Thanks, jude
