Donna's questions will mostly be dealt with in the mailing that
should go out this week. However, I have been picking up that a
number of you will be leaving the US early and may not receive it
before you leave. So, answers...

1. When you get to Nottingham by train, ask the taxi to take you to
Cavendish Hall at the University of Nottingham. Check-in will be
open from about 2:00 on Monday. If you have booked for Sunday night,
go to the hall anyway and the porter will give you your room.

2. The English weather is notoriously unpredictable! If you plan on
a range between 65 and 80 degrees, you should be safe. It is
unlikely to be cooler but it might just get a little hotter. Some
sort of light waterproof or at least an umbrella is also desirable.

3. I am not planning to publish a final programme until arrival,
partly because there are still some comings and goings and we are
trying to juggle the sessions that need video players to get them
into the minimum number of rooms - this saves quite a bit. However,
the mailing will give you a list of who is known to be coming and the
titles of their papers.

4. If you are planning to show a video and have not already told me,
this is urgent. Remember that UK videos use a different technical
standard from the US and we need to make special arrangements to have
multi-standard players available. Alternatively, we can convert your
video tapes with a few days notice.

5. We do have a Tshirt designed, Donna, but we have held back on
production to see what the scale of demand might be. If anyone else
thinks they are likely to be a customer, would they like to email me
or post a message on this board.
