hoax info useful

I just had the opportunity to utilize some of the info. that
Avi Bass provided in his "Gullibility Virus" posting. I
received a message (well-intentioned, I'm sure) from a
friend warning about an email virus called "Join the Crew."
I checked it out at Symantec's Virus Research Center site
(URL provided by Avi - definitely bookmark!) and found out
it was a hoax. What's more, I did this before forwarding
the warning to anyone else! There is hope for recovery ...
