Thank you for responding to our campus-wide survey of Web
activities and interests at NIU last semester. The purpose
of this letter is to invite you to our next Webmasters
usergroup meeting scheduled for:
Wednesday, January 21, 1998
9:30am to 11:30am
Campus Life Building, Room 110.
The January meeting is aimed at providing helpful
information on a variety of Web topics and is geared toward
all levels of Web users. So whether you are already
developing and managing a Web site or are a neophyte looking
for some ideas about how to get started, the January meeting
is one you should consider attending.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
Introductions
Review of campus-wide web survey results (Mark
Misic)
Presentation & Discussion of Web editors (Steve
Builta)
Presentation & Discussion of Web Graphics (Aline
Click)
Presentation & Discussion of Web Learning/Education
Resources (Denyse Sturges)
Each presentation will run approximately 30 minutes.
As many of you know, the World Wide Web is about linking and
providing information from a wide variety of sources. Won't
you consider joining NIU Webmasters' efforts to unite Web
activities on campus and help us advance how we provide
information to our target audiences?
I look forward to seeing and meeting you at the January
meeting. If you have any specific questions concerning the
meeting, feel free to contact me at misic@niu.edu . For
