Hello everyone
Let me just say that copyright for digital material is very much a
grey area- not only who has copyright but how do we as users of
information comply with copyright. While there are laws and accepted
practices for the print world, translating these into the digital
environment rarely works. Below are some URLS for articles and
website with links to other sites about copyright. As someone who is
very much involved with providing access to copyrighted materials to
the public, my stance is to proceed cautiously and to take every
opportunity to respect the rights of the author(s) of any work. I
believe this to be true of most individuals in the academic world who
are aware of copyright issues.
