After reading Jim's posting, I am left with a question for someone with
legal knowledge.

Is it legal to advocate, promote, or instruct people on how to commit
fraud?

It seems that IF Jim was advocating or instructing people how to
defraud CMP Publications to aquire free subscriptions, then they were
correct in being upset.

But, the question remains - is it illegal ?
