The main feature of the page right now is the course listings from the
Schedule of Classes. Once section adds, changes, and cancellations
start arriving from departments next month for the Spring term, we will
be updating this information on a weekly basis. In the future, we will put
up the new schedule of classes when the booklet goes to the printer.
This is about three weeks before the paper copies hit the streets.
We have converted the course listings from the Undergraduate catalog
to html. As soon as the Catalog Editor, Kay Van Mol has had a chance to
review these pages we will add them to our production page. Additional
catalog conversions are planned.
Our next project will be to move our web server to a higher capacity
platform.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
Is anyone at NIU doing anything with .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) files on their
web server? We are looking at this as a possibility for admissions
brochures and the like.
