Who is Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is currently serving life without parole in Illinois'
Dwight Correctional Center. She was convicted in 1986 of murdering
her husband. Janet has denied involvement. The man
who testified against her was released from prison in February,
1995. The Judge allowed no testimony about the abuse she had
suffered. Janet has served 8 1/2 years of a life sentence for
first degree murder and armed robbery.  While incarcerated, Janet
has earned a bachelor's degree.
